Traditional or Digital?

When I first started out on Instagram, I was known to be a strictly "Traditional" artist/hobbyist. When I wanted to be part of a comic team I was thrown into the digital art world. Needless to say, a lot of my followers didn't appreciate it and I can understand that. At that moment I was having a hard time trying to find my place between digital and traditional and often did I ask "Which do you like better? Digital or traditional?". That's the kind of thinking that got me to do this.


Now, a year after, I realized that I will always be in between the two mediums because art itself cannot be contained within one spectrum. If you wish for growth, then an artist cannot and should not limit themselves to simply one and or the other. Self expression is not as simple as sitting in one box; it is broadening your horizons and finding many other ways to express yourself.
